Agility Track Program

The first class series in our agility program is Pre-agility, which consists of Pre-agility Foundations (6 weeks) and Advanced Pre-agility (6 weeks). Pre-agility is taught on our rubber mats area (not the agility field) and introduces important foundational skills for agility. Dogs should have completed a group puppy or obedience class at any training facility before going into Pre-agility. After Pre-agility is our Obstacles series, which consists of Obstacles Foundations (6 weeks) and Advanced Obstacles (6 weeks). In Obstacles, you will earn what all of the agility obstacles are, and your dog will learn how to safely and successfully perform the obstacles. Then you will move on to Sequencing, which consists of Sequencing Foundations (6 weeks) and Advanced Sequencing (6 weeks). In Sequencing, you will learn about crosses and start sequencing the obstacles with your dog, gradually working your way up to running full courses. After you complete the Sequencing Series, you can join our monthly Competition Agility classes, where we have a new course each week for you and your dog to run. We also have Handling And Skills classes that can be taken any time, as long as you have completed Pre-agility. Handling and Skills classes are optional and do not have to be completed in order to join Competition Agility classes.
